It turns out that the funeral parlour is being used as an assembly line for zombie slaves, and it is left to Mike, with the aid of his brother Jody (Bill Thornburg) and ice cream man Reggie (Reggie Bannister), to stop them. In 'Phantasm II' (1987), the Tall Man is still terrorising people in their dreams and raiding cemeteries with the assistance of his evil gnome-like helpers. Mike (James Le Gros) and Reggie resume their battle with the deathly spirit after a recurring dream about a beautiful girl convinces Mike that she must be next on the Tall Man's hit list. In 'Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead' (1993), the Tall Man returns after 15 years, hell bent on taking Mike (Baldwin) to his grave. Mike's friend Reggie, orphan boy Tim (Kevin Connors) and one-woman army Rocky (Gloria Henry) attempt to stave off the Tall Man's threat once and for all. In 'Phantasm IV: Oblivion' (1998), the Tall Man's true identity is finally revealed. Mike bends the contours of time and space to wage war against the Tall Man and his deadly metal spheres. The forces of darkness are turned on him however, and Mike's only allies are his friend Reggie and the spirit of his dead brother. Finally, in 'Phantasm: Ravager' (2016), Reggie travels through the desert in search of his friend Mike and the Tall Man. They also learn that the killer has taken Gordon's family hostage. Will the men be able to outwit this sadistic psychopath in time to save themselves and the hostages? In 'Saw II' (2005), while investigating the bloody aftermath of a grisly murder, Detective Eric Mason (Donnie Wahlberg) begins to suspect it is the work of notorious serial killer Jigsaw. Meanwhile, eight strangers, unaware of their connection to each other, are forced to play out a game that challenges their wits and puts their lives in jeopardy. The family's joy however is abruptly ended when they are invaded and attacked in their home by members of a Satanic cult. The terror of that night is nothing compared to what follows as the cult conjure an entity which takes over Annabelle and transforms her into a malevolent force of evil. In 'The Conjuring 2' (2016) Ed and Lorraine are called in to investigate a series of unsettling events at a home in Enfield, London. The pair come to the aid of single mother Peggy Hodgson (Frances O'Connor), after she claims her two daughters are being tormented by an evil spirit. Not long after moving in to the house, the Warrens begin to experience some terrifying phenomena of their own, with the demonic entity seemingly intent on forcing them out. In 'Annabelle - Creation' (2017), after the death of their young daughter, doll maker Samuel Mullins (Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife Esther (Miranda Otto) invite a group of orphans and nun Sister Charlotte (Stephanie Sigman) to stay in their farmhouse after their own orphanage closes down. However, it soon transpires that the couple have welcomed the young girls to atone for inadvertently inviting a demon into their home, after mistaking it for the spirit of their daughter Annabelle. Now occupying one of Samuel's dolls the spirit proceeds to terrorise the girls as it tries to claim their souls. 'The Nun' (2018), set in 1952, follows Catholic priest Father Burke (Demián Bichir) and young nun Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) as they are dispatched by the Vatican to investigate the mysterious death of a nun at the Cârta Monastery in Romania. Upon arrival, they are met with a hostile reception as the malevolent entities occupying the monastery reveal themselves. As they work to uncover the secrets of the order, will they escape with their souls intact or will they be the next victims of the demonic nun? In 'Annabelle Comes Home' (2019) renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine think they have finally contained the cursed Annabelle doll when they bring it home, have it blessed by a priest and lock it in a case of sacred glass. However, when the couple depart for the night, leaving their ten-year-old daughter Judy (Mckenna Grace) alone with teenage babysitters Mary Ellen (Madison Iseman) and Daniela (Katie Sarife), Annabelle continues to cause terror and acts as a beacon for the Warren's treasure trove of cursed artefacts, which, once awakened, set out to claim Judy's soul. Finally, in 'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It' (2021), set in 1980s Connecticut, Ed and Lorraine Warren come to the aid of Arne Cheyenne Johnson (Ruairi O'Connor), a young man accused of murdering his landlord who claims to have been possessed by a demonic spirit.
