This two disc set celebrates the life and music of the good Captain by way of a DVD documentary telling his fascinating story, and featuring exclusive interviews with many of his closest confidantes such as members of his magic band, his friend and occasional collaborator Frank Zappa and a host of others, along with much rare archive performance and interview footage. The second disc features a lengthy interview with Beefheart recorded in 1974 by rock journalist Steve Rosen, which gives a whole new view of this unorthodox man.
