Kevin Connor directs this horror anthology starring Peter Cushing as the proprietor of a small antiques shop. Any customer who attempts to cheat the proprietor or steal from the shop will suffer a terrible fate. In 'The Gatecrasher', Edward Charlton (David Warner) purchases a mirror which contains a ghost with a craving for human blood. 'An Act of Kindness' follows Christopher Lowe (Ian Bannen) who steals a military medal from the shop and begins an affair with a woman with inexplicable powers. In 'The Elemental', after Reggie Warren (Ian Carmichael) cheats the proprietor, a malevolent spirit follows him home. Finally, in 'The Door', William Seaton (Ian Ogilvy) buys an antique door which leads to a sinister chamber belonging to an occultist who consumes the souls of those who enter.
