Chad Stahelski directs this action thriller starring Keanu Reeves as the eponymous former hitman who returns to the criminal underworld he left behind in order to seek revenge. After Wick refuses to sell his car to Russian gangster Iosef (Alfie Allen), members of his gang break into Wick's home and kill his dog, a gift left to him by his recently deceased wife Helen (Bridget Moynahan). Iosef is the son of Wick's former boss Viggo Tarasov (Michael Nyqvist), the head of the Russian mafia in New York, who is fully aware of exactly what Wick is capable of. As Wick attempts to track down and kill Iosef he encounters the assassin Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) who is working for Viggo and eventually comes face to face with his former boss. The cast also includes Ian McShane, John Leguizamo and Willem Dafoe.
