It's about time Music On Vinyl gave them the star treatment. And we're starting with an album that was never before released on vinyl: Purpendicular. <br/><br/>The legendary band's 15th studio album was the first one they recorded with new guitarist Steve Morse, who pulled the band up to new heights and made this the most experimental Deep Purple album to date. There was more focus on the guitar, they used pinch harmonies, they sounded like they were having fun again; most famously so in "Vavoom: Ted The Mechanic" based on a true story Ian Gillan once heard in a pub. <br/><br/>The excellent riffs and awe-inspiring solos appear on two 180 gram audiophile vinyl LPs, alongside the exclusive - and elusive - bonus track "Don't Hold Your Breath".

När Scorpions gick ut med att dom skulle lägga ner bandet och åka på avskedsturné fick dom direkt frågan när dom skulle återförenas. Efter succén med studioalbumet "Sting in the tail" och avskedsturnén bestämde man sig för att gå in i studion igen för att ge fansen ett speciellt "extranummer". Man spelade in sju av sina största hits på nytt och sex låtar av andra artister som betytt något alldeles speciellt för Scorpions som grupp. Resultatet är albumet "Comeblack".
