Det är nu hela åtta år sedan Tommy Nilsson senast kom ut med ett studioalbum. Under det senaste året, har han tillsammans med sin producent Johan Glössner, skrivit och producerat albumet Stay Straight On The Current Road. Albumet som spelats in hemma i Tommy Nilssons hus i Färila utanför Järvsö i Hälsingland, och är det första inspelade albumet i hans nybyggda studio där.
