Over the course of 20 years, Arch Enemy, under Amott's guidance, crafted 10 acclaimed full-lengths, dominated sales charts, and toured the globe. If Amott were a smart man, he'd retire now to some tropical island with his favorite Michael Schenker records in tow and the setting sun on his face. But neither he nor Arch Enemy are done. Not by a long shot. <br/><br/>With vocalist Alissa White-Gluz replacing long-time frontwoman Angela Gossow in 2014, War Eternal is Arch Enemy reborn. "Changes in the band lineup are hardly ever looked upon favorably by the fans," Amott acknowledges, "which I completely understand. Nonetheless, it does happen and the changes that have been made in the Arch Enemy camp were necessary in order for the band to survive and keep going. I love the energy of working with new people and Alissa has certainly brought a lot of talent and enthusiasm to the band!"<br/><br/>When Amott recruited Angela Gossow to front Arch Enemy for the Wages of Sin effort, he changed extreme metal forever. With White-Gluz, he has a new weapon. She's a vertiable firebrand on War Eternal, her unrelenting roar, cruel rasp, and unique looks the mark of a woman ready to conquer the world. "My goal is to keep Arch Enemy alive and thriving!" White-Gluz exclaims. <br/><br/>ARCH ENEMY presents a live DVD, As The Stages Burn!, of their largest stage production to date from their performance last summer at the WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival in Germany. This performance marks the pinnacle of a highly successful album campaign in support of War Eternal. It all began in March of 2014 when the band announced new vocalist Alissa White-Gluz as well as the video for the album title track, "War Eternal". This debut track went on to become the bands most successful video in their career, surpassing 20 million views on YouTube. The release of the War Eternal album also saw ARCH ENEMY reaching their highest US and German chart positions to date while going on to play over 200 shows in over 40 countries around the world. In late 2014, Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) joined ARCH ENEMY during the world tour with Kreator and in 2015 they played arenas as direct support for Nightwish.

Jubileumsutgåvan på George Michaels album "Listen Without Prejudice, Vol. 1" var ursprungligen tänkt att släppas 2016, men George Michael jobbade med en dokumentär kring detta album vilket gjorde att den blev försenad. Sedan avled han mycket hastigt och tragiskt julen 2016. Oktober 2017 blev det till sist äntligen dags att släppa det.<br/><br/>Deluxe box med det tidigare outgivna albumet MTV Unplugged från Georges omtalade MTV framträdande samt även en CD med remixar och b-sidor och en DVD innehållande en konsert samt promovideos.

With the album The Source, Arjen Lucassen adds a whole new chapter to his impressive body of work Ayreon, for which he already laid the foundation in the mid 90's. The Source offers once again everything that gained him dedicated fans worldwide: an impressive cast of singers and musicians, compelling songs, an overwhelming sound and an intriguing story.<br/><br/>The international status of Ayreon has been such that Arjen Lucassen could write his characters with some of the most respected singers in rock in mind: James LaBrie (Dream Theater), Tommy Giles Rogers (Between the Buried and Me), Simone Simons (Epica), Mike Mills (Toehider), Floor Jansen (Nightwish), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Michael Eriksen (Circus Maximus), Tobias Sammet (Edguy, Avantasia), Nils K. Rue (Pagan's Mind), Zaher Zorgati (Myrath), Tommy Karevik (Kamelot) and Russell Allen (Symphony X). Special musical contributions were offered by guitarists Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Guthrie Govan (The Aristocrats, Asia, Steven Wilson), Marcel Coenen and keyboard player Mark Kelly (Marillion). Like on all his previous albums Arjen Lucassen played on a wide variety of instruments, while drummer extraordinaire Ed Warby (o.a. Elegy, Gorefest, Hail Of Bullets) added once again inimitable performances to an Ayreon album.<br/><br/>The Story of The Source is initially set on Alpha, a planet that is facing a potentially fatal crisis six billion years ago. Ecological and political catastrophes threaten all human life. It's with the help of a computer mainframe - The Frame - that the population tries to change the course of events. The computers' intelligence has by then surpassed that of humanity. They reach the conclusion that their creators are the biggest problem. The 'Frame' intends to save the planet, but wants to exterminate humanity at the same time. It leaves The Alphans no other option then to try and escape a terrible fate. But, at a very high price.<br/><br/>The Source is a title that's open to various interpretations. It's a reference to water and therefore the water planet where the ones who escaped from Alpha find a new and safe home after a long and enduring journey. The Source also points at the origins of humanity. Where are we coming from? It also hints at the place that The Source takes in the entire Ayreon catalogue. The Source can be considered as the prequel - the source - to the entire epic Ayreon saga.
