Script For A Jester's Tear was Marillion debut studio album originally released on 13 March 1983, reaching number seven in the UK Albums Chart (eventually achieving a platinum status) and produced the two Top 40 singles He Knows You Know (35) and Garden Party (16).<br/><br/>Formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in 1979, the band went through several personnel changes before recording their debut album. Having attracted attention with a three-track session for the Friday Rock Show they were signed by EMI Records releasing their first single, Market Square Heroes, in October 1982 with their debut album Script For A Jester's Tear following a few months later after their second single He Knows You Know.<br/><br/>The CD version will have the same audio across 4CD plus a bonus Blu-Ray featuring "The Script Interviews" a wonderful documentary covering the formation of the band through to the release of Script For A Jester's Tear in their own words.

Legendary drummer, Mick Fleetwood enlisted an all-star cast for a one-of-a-kind concert honouring the early years of Fleetwood Mac and its founder, Peter Green which was held on 25th February 2020 at the London, Palladium. The bill included Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Zak Starkey, Steven Tyler, Bill Wyman, Noel Gallagher, Pete Townshend, Neil Finn, Kirk Hammett and Jeremy Spencer. Legendary producer Glyn Johns joined as the executive sound producer and the house band featured Fleetwood himself along with Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, Rick Vito, Jonny Lang and Ricky Peterson.<br/><br/>Fleetwood, who curated the list of artists performing, said: "The concert is a celebration of those early blues days where we all began, and it's important to recognize the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music. Peter was my greatest mentor and it gives me such joy to pay tribute to his incredible talent. " STUNNING 3CD SET OF GENESIS' FINEST RADIO RECORDINGS.<br/><br/>Formed by Charterhouse pupils Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Peter Gabriel, and Anthony Phillips in 1968, Genesis were named by former pupil, the now disgraced Jonathan King. With Phil Collins and Steve Hackett joining in the early '70s - following the departure of Phillips - after a string of reasonably successful albums through the first half of the decade, the concept album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway was released in 1974, and was promoted with a transatlantic tour featuring an elaborate stage show. Following the Lamb tour, Gabriel left Genesis in August 1975 to begin a solo career.<br/><br/>Collins then took over as lead vocalist and following Steve Hackett's departure too, Genesis entered its most successful phase of all, which pretty much continues to this day.<br/><br/>This triple disc boxed set celebrates the longevity, musicianship, song writing genius and accessibility of Genesis across their career, containing as it does a trio of radio broadcast recordings featuring some of the band's finest concerts and most cherished sessions.<br/><br/>Kicking off on DISC ONE with the group's show recorded in Zurich, Switzerland, on July 2nd 1977, while undertaking their Wind and Wuthering tour; this was the band's final jaunt to include Steve Hackett in the line-up. Next up, DISC TWO features their dynamic 1976 show recorded at London's Hammersmith Odeon on June 12th, while on their Trick Of The Tail Tour, their first without Peter Gabriel out front.<br/><br/>The set concludes on DISC THREE, which boasts Genesis' BBC Radio Sessions recorded for the corporation between 1970 and 1972, and broadcast live on Radio One.

Jakko Jakszyk had a life-changing moment when he saw King Crimson playing Watford Town Hall on the 15th July 1971. Hearing the band that night instilled in the 13-year-old Jakko a determination to become a professional musician, setting him off on the road to what has been by any definition a remarkable career. 2020 sees the release of Jakko Jakszyk's latest solo album, "Secrets & Lies" featuring King Crimson bandmates, Robert Fripp, Gavin Harrison, Tony Levin, and Mel Collins. Containing ten songs that explore topics such as obsession, betrayal, the shifting grounds of contemporary politics, and the tangled threads of family history, Secrets And Lies balances sensitive writing, musical technique, and accessible tunes cast in an impressively cinematic sound world. With three of the tracks, Separation, Under Lock & Key and Uncertain Times originating in King Crimson's writing sessions, the result is a mature work brimming with yearning melodies in symphonic or widescreen settings, fluid guitar work, and Jakko's heartfelt, emotional vocals.
