LACUNA COIL's new live album, Live from the Apocalypse, is the fruit of an unprecedented time. Unlike previous live efforts-Visual Karma (Body, Mind and Soul) (2008), Shallow Live: Acoustic at Criminal Records (2010), and The 119 Show - Live in London (2018)-the Italians, under the yoke of the pandemic, cleverly devised a way for their devoted fanbase to hear and see them on stage by organizing a special live stream event performing their latest album, Black Anima, in September 2020. By all accounts, this was no ordinary gig. Even though LACUNA COIL were in their hometown of Milan-at the famed Alcatraz Club-there were no fans to greet them. No roar of anticipation; No claps of adulation; No interaction with the people who had become deeply involved in and had a profound love for LACUNA COIL's music and live shows over two-plus decades. The live stream energy was different. It had to be. With hearts on their sleeves, cameras rolling, and the world tuning in online, LACUNA COIL brought "Black Anima: Live from the Apocalypse" to life. Vissa band skapar ett sound som är så eget att de får en hel genre uppkallad efter sig. Gamma Ray och Helloween är ett sådana band. Power metal hade aldrig låtit som den gör utan Kai Hansen som var med och grundade Helloween och ett par år senare bildade Gamma Ray. Idag är cirkeln sluten och Hansen är tillbaka i Helloween, men han håller också fortfarande liv i Gamma Ray.<br/><br/>Här kommer en livekonsert som spelades in 2020, för att fira bandets 30 år. På grund av pandemin framfördes denna konsert utan fysisk publik, dock är fansen med digitalt via en livestream. De fick också i efterhand skicka in filmer där de diggar och dessa har klippts in i<br/>själva konserten.

Med sina spektakulära scenshower, fantastiska musiker och inte minst med sina hits, har Cooper trollbundit generationer av rockare. Hans antihjälte har fascinerat, roat och ibland skrämt oss."Detroit Stories" är ett hommage till Coopers hemstad Detroit och till musiken därifrån, som kom att prägla honom djupt. 1970 spelades albumet "Love you To Death" in i Detroit med Bob Ezrin som producent. Nu, 50 år senare, har Alice Cooper återvänt till sin gamla hemstad, valt att spela in sitt senaste alster med Ezrin som producent och slutit cirkeln. Albumet gästas bland annat av Wayne Kramer (MC5), Johnny "Bee" Badanjek (Detroit Wheels) och Motor City Horns.
