Ghost: Meliora (Black) [Gatefold / Vinyl LP]

För att fira 50 år som verksamt band spelade Blue Öyster Cult 2022 tre utsålda kvällar på raken i New York. Varje konsert var unik eftersom de valde att spela igenom ett album från början till slut; första kvällen framfördes den självbetitlade debuten, andra kvällen albumet "Tyranny and Mutation" och tredje kvällen "Secret Treaties". Självklart inkluderades också väl valda örhängen från resten av bandets karriär. Nu släpps så första kvällen och här gästas de av Albert Bouchard som var med i bandet från allra första början men som numera spelar med The Dictators.

Han är en legendar och en underhållare av rang, skräckrockens okrönte kung och en ikon! Alice Cooper trycker gaspedalen i botten för att ge oss ett nytt album som fått titeln "Road". Plattan har producerats av Bob Ezrin som Cooper jobbat med i många år, och som vanligt består bandet av Ryan Roxie (gitarr), Tommy Henriksen (gitarr), Nita Strauss (gitarr), Chuck Garrick (bas) och Glen Sobel (trummor). <br/><br/>Hela albumet är en fantastisk uppvisning i spelglädje och skicklighet. Gitarrerna är magnifika och trummorna driver hem poängen, men stjärnan är ju ändå allas vår favorit-Alice! Det går inte att ta miste på den rösten.<br/><br/>Det visuella innehållet består av en hel konsert (17 låtar) inspelad på Hellfest 2022.

David Coverdale was a relatively unknown 21-year-old singer-songwriter when he joined Deep Purple in 1973. He went on to record three classic albums alongside the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers before embarking on his musical journey a few years later with his band, Whitesnake. <br/><br/>Coverdale is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his Deep Purple debut this year with a special version of The Purple Album, Whitesnake's tribute to his three-year tenure with the legendary group. This newly remixed, remastered, and expanded edition of the 2015 album features previously unreleased recordings, including the very demo that secured Coverdale's spot with Deep Purple.<br/><br/>The 2-CD/Blu-ray version of THE PURPLE ALBUM: SPECIAL GOLD EDITION goes beyond the original with the addition of live recordings and concert videos from The Purple Tour ("The Gypsy," "Mistreated"), official music videos ("Sail Away," "You Fool No One"), and an assortment of previously unreleased material, including six alternate mixes of album tracks. The Blu-ray also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the album's making and a song-by-song commentary by Coverdale.
