Årets vassaste kärlekstriangel!<br/><br/>Det är vinter i Paris. Sarah och Jean har varit ett par länge och älskar varandra djupt. När de först träffades var Sarah tillsammans med Francois. Han var den som presenterade henne för Jean. När Sarah, tio år senare, av en slump träffar Francois igen överraskas hon av sina känslor. När Jean dessutom erbjuder Francois ett jobb och bjuder in honom i deras liv igen så skakas deras relation i grunden.<br/><br/>Claire Denis (f. 1948) tog examen från filmskolan IDHEC i början av 70-talet. Hon gjorde sedan några kortfilmer och arbetade som regiassistent åt bland andra Jim Jarmusch och Wim Wenders. Redan i regidebuten Chocolat (1988) är hennes stil tydlig och stämningarna får ofta större utrymme än historien. Något som märks inte minst i filmer som Nenette och Boni, Beau Travail, Trouble Every Day och White Material.
