Som liten blev Dars föräldrar och hela hans stam massakrerade av en mäktig häxmästare. Nu har pojken växt upp till en ståtlig krigare fast besluten att hämnas. Med sig på sin långa resa i rättvisans namn har Dar den listige jägaren Seth, den vackra slavkvinnan Kiri och fyra mer oväntade följeslagare - en majestätisk örn, den väldige pantern Rhu samt illrarna Kodo och Podo. Mot häxmästarens stora anhang är de förstås numerärt underlägsna, men Dar är begåvad med en unik och väldigt mäktig förmåga. Han kan kommunicera med djur. In 'Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead' (1993), the Tall Man returns after 15 years, hell bent on taking Mike (Baldwin) to his grave. Mike's friend Reggie, orphan boy Tim (Kevin Connors) and one-woman army Rocky (Gloria Henry) attempt to stave off the Tall Man's threat once and for all. In 'Phantasm IV: Oblivion' (1998), the Tall Man's true identity is finally revealed. Mike bends the contours of time and space to wage war against the Tall Man and his deadly metal spheres. The forces of darkness are turned on him however, and Mike's only allies are his friend Reggie and the spirit of his dead brother. Finally, in 'Phantasm: Ravager' (2016), Reggie travels through the desert in search of his friend Mike and the Tall Man.
