In 'Deadpool 2' (2018), after he loses his fiancée Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), Deadpool is unable to find a way to end his life and so he reluctantly joins the X-Men. When he meets Russell Collins (Julian Dennison), a young mutant with incredible powers who is being abused by staff at the orphanage where he lives, Deadpool's violent response has dangerous consequences for them both. Meanwhile, Cable (Josh Brolin), a cybernetic soldier with the ability to time-travel, is hunting Russell and so Deadpool forms a team of mutants called X-Force to help him to protect the boy and thwart Cable's plans. Finally, in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' (2024), when Deadpool learns that Mr Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) from the Time Variance Authority is planning to destroy his universe, he embarks on a mission to find a Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) variant who can help him to save his world from annihilation. To do so, they must help Marek's former owner by tracking down a rogue smuggler but they face many unexpected dangers along the way. 'Mythica: The Iron Crown' (2016) sees Marek steal the last shard of the legendary Darkspore with the intention of bringing it to the gods who can protect it from those who would abuse its power. Unfortunately for Marek and her companions, she is being hunted by the very people she is trying to escape. Can she deliver the Darkspore before a dreaded necromancer can use it to summon his servants and cover the world in darkness? In 'Mythica: The Dragon Slayer' (2016) time is running out for Marek, Dagen and their allies as they try to defeat the Lich King and protect the world from the chaos he seeks to unleash. As they prepare to travel to America to confront and take down Poppy and her crew, the Kingsmen contact their American counterparts, Statesman, who agree to help them in their quest. Although they have the same agenda - save the world - the Kingsmen and the Statesmen have very different methods and values but they must put these aside and work together if they stand any chance of bringing down the Golden Circle. Finally, in 'The King's Man' (2021), when some of history's most evil figures, including assassin Gavrilo Princip (Joel Basman), spy Mata Hari (Valerie Pachner) and monk Grigori Rasputin (Rhys Ifans), join forces to plot the outbreak of the First World War, aristocrat Orlando Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) sets out to stop them. In 'Deep Blue Sea 2' (2018) shark conservationist Dr Misty Calhoun (Danielle Savre) is invited to see the work of billionaire Carl Durant (Michael Beach) and is horrified to learn he has been genetically altering bull sharks to enhance their learning capabilities. In 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' (2021), as he adjusts to life as the host of the alien symbiote Venom, Eddie is granted an exclusive interview with incarcerated serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). While he attempts to solve a murder case on behalf of Detective Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham), Cletus becomes the new host of symbiote Carnage and breaks out of prison to reunite with his former girlfriend Frances Barrison (Naomie Harris). Finally, in 'Venom: The Last Dance' (2024), Eddie and Venom are forced to go on the run when they are hunted by forces from both of their worlds. Knull (Andy Serkis), the creator of the symbiotes, has sent a Xenophage after them, believing they hold the key to freeing him from his imprisonment. But when Caesar breaks free a revolution is triggered and an epic war for supremacy breaks out between humankind and the primates of the world. In 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' (2014) Caesar, now the leader of a growing band of cognisant simians, starts the process towards a truce between the apes and the humans. Many consider the outbreak of war to only be a matter of time however, since the human population has been vastly reduced by a devastating virus and their role as the dominant species on Earth is in question. As the tension increases it may only take a single spark to trigger an explosive war that will pit the humans against the apes in an all-out battle for survival. Finally, in 'War for the Planet of the Apes' (2017), Caesar finds himself and his kind trapped in a war with the humans led by Colonel McCullogh (Woody Harrelson).
