Martha Wainwright skrev sin platta "Love Will Be Reborn" under den globala pandemin och spelade sedan in den i sin hemstad Montreal. Pierre Marchand, som är mest känd för sitt samarbete med Sarah McLachlan efter att ha producerat några av hennes ikoniska 90-tals låtar, har producerat. "Love Will Be Reborn" andas försiktig optimism och glädje efter tid av ensamhet och klarhet.

Spencer., beatboxaren från NYC, ägnade pandemin åt att skriva, producera och spela in nya albumet "Are U Down?". Här blandar han friskt mellan R&B, hip-hop, funk, indie, pop, jazz och soul och skapar ett sound som låter och känns både digitalt och analogt. Det hyllar det gamla samtidigt som det bestämt stannar i nutiden och beskrivs som "känslan av sommar i New York". På plattan medverkar bl a svenska labelkollegan Becky and The Birds på sång.

Circuit des Yeux, a.k.a. Haley Fohr, den hyllade sångerskan och låtskrivaren från Chicagos musikliv, med sitt sjätte album, nu via Matador. Albumet "-io" är hennes mest utsmyckade och detaljerade arbete hittills, kompositioner som på ett imponerande sätt placerar Haleys fyroktaviga röst över en 24-mannaorkester av bl a stråkar och blås. Albumet producerades och arrangerades av henne själv och mixningen gjordes av Marta Salogni (Björk, Holly Herndon).
