B. B. King died in February 2015 at the age of 89. He was a guitarist and singer who can be described without exaggeration as one of music's legends.
Ten of his original albums make up this box and in addition there are some interesting bonus tracks for every blues fan.
B. B. stands for his pseudonym "Beale Street Blues Boy", his guitar he named Lucille and they were an unbeatable duo that sold millions of records and took every noteworthy prize in the music business.
In all there were 70 singles and 25 albums he recorded for the Bihari brothers on their labels RPM, Crown and Kent, and they were sold exclusively in the black quarters of American cities. Between the years 1951 and 1992 he had 75 titles in the American R&B charts.
Many fans will enjoy the rare1960 Crown LP, that King made with Duke Ellington's (the legendary jazz-pianist) orchestra, as well as the scarce 1962 LP "Twist with B. B. King", both included in this box.
